How masking works
The tool detects sensitive values from keys and patterns. Repeated values get the same placeholder. Domains use reserved example domains and IP addresses use documentation ranges.
You can disable categories or individual replacements and add custom search and replacement rules. These rules stay in your browser's local storage. Review the full output before publishing: automatic detection can miss sensitive values.
