   Workdays and holidays

   A switch turns on workday mode. Weekends drop out, and depending on country and region the public holidays too. For deadline and project planning, this is usually the mode you actually need.

What are workdays and how are they calculated?

Workdays are all days except Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays. The calculator supports selectable holiday rules (e.g., nationwide or state-specific holidays in Germany).

Can I add months or years to a date?

Yes, in the 'Calculate date' mode you can add or subtract days, weeks, months, or years to any start date. The result is displayed immediately.

Which holidays are taken into account?

You can choose from various holiday rules, including nationwide German holidays and state-specific regulations. Holidays are automatically excluded from workday calculations.

Is the date calculator free?

Yes, the date calculator is completely free and requires no registration. All calculations are performed directly in the browser without any server connection.
